That is the disadvatange of buying on line. The prinr quality was very poor. Doing anything cost shipping money and you have nothing to show for it. To some extent it is like buying a pig in a poke. One was worse than the other, but both are difficult to read. If I had seen how light they were printed, I would not have bought these copies.
He was pleased to get a new one that can be opened without scattering it across the room. Dad had a copy of this dictionary that was falling apart.
We have worn out three paperbacks and are pleased to finally get the hardback. We have several crossword dictionaries, but the A-Z by Edy Garcia Schaffer is by far the very best one for ease in use and is the best for our daily newspaper puzzle.
I would recommend it to anyone who loves crossword puzzles as I do. I had been looking in bookstores for a new one, when I thought about going on line searching for one, I was "sooo happy" when I found it. As I work the Crossword puzzle in our local paper each morning, I have found this dictionary to be very helpful. It has replaced an older version of the A-Z dictionary that I have had for well over 20 years,and was becoming very worn.
This is a marveleous dictionary, I've found just about everyword I needed when solving crossword puzzles.
